In this episode of **Anatomy of a Racist Argument**, we examine Kirk’s statement: “If I see a Black pilot, I’m going to be like, ‘Boy, I hope he’s qualified.’” We give Kirk the context of his argument—and then examine the assumption underneath it. Airline pilots still have to meet FAA certification, training, testing, and flight-experience requirements.
